For all those interested in modelling (real life modelling, like plastic tank kits), Revell is offering its products with World of Tanks codes inside. Pretty neat.

Also, the first FTR QA test was not successful: the questions were not replied for some reason, but the player was not banned, so no rules were broken. Will run a second test.
还有,FTR的第一次QA测试并不成功:那些问题由于某些原因没有被回答, 但是玩家也没有被Ban掉,所以我们没有触犯什么规则。我会进行第二次实验的

The 8.9 will go live on RU server on 29.10. and on EU server on 30.10.2013 (no data on NA server, sorry).

Storm also started asking players in a post, which maps do they like the best. Not much info from there, but it seems the most players actually prefer older maps: Malinovka, Murovanka, Prokhorovka, Himmelsdorf and others.
Storm同时开了一个帖子,询问玩家他们最喜欢哪些地图。那边没什么有用的信息,但是大多数玩家还是喜欢那些比较老的地图:马利诺夫卡,穆勒万卡,普罗霍洛夫卡,锡默尔斯多夫(锡城)以及其他一干地图。

– Storm confirms that the engine has a chance of lighting up from ANY damage done (above certain threshold, that is there to prevent lowtier autocannons from causing too many engine fires), but not every damage done makes the engine yellow or red, so it is possible for a “normal” (undamaged) engine to catch fire

Storm确认了发动机在受到任何伤害的情况下都有可能被打着火(当然是有一定限制的(伤害限制),为了防止低级突突炮把发动机打着火的情况发生的太频繁),但是并不是每一次伤害都能让发动机变成黄色或者红色的,所以发动机有可能在“正常”(没有受伤)的情况下被打着火

– frames per second limit won’t be implemented
每秒帧数不会被限制

– fullscreen mode without a frame won’t apparently be impemented (SS: not sure what this refers to, a fully opened window?)
无框的全屏模式(个人猜测是虚拟全屏模式——译注)不会被加入游戏(SS:不确定这是什么意思,完全打开的窗口?)
