– Storm on Improved ventilation: Ventilation gives bonus to all skills, to which a bonus can be given. Eg. the bonus should be disoplayed everywhere. There is one catch: the bonus from ventilation is given also to the commander and he – in turn – gives his increased commander bonus to the other members of the crew. So, the total bonus is recieved – 5 percent for the commander and more than 5 percent for the rest of the crew
Storm谈通风配件:通风给所有的技能都额外加点 。比如:通风给车长加成以后,他再给其他车组加成。所以通风给车长加了5%,那其他人就加个比5%更多了

– the only way how to win when the enemy captured your base (base captured! text displayed) is within the 5 seconds from the capture to destroy the entire enemy team
在敌人占领基地已经显示占满100%时,你可以在之后的5秒内全歼敌人反败为胜哦

– the difference in damage between the Soviet and Chinese Zis-4 gun is given by the “gun specifics”
毛子和tg都有Zis-4这管子,不过由于属性不同所以也伤害不同

– teamkills committed by arty will not be punished stricter than regular teamkills (SS: a light tank player was complaining about the arty ordering him what to do and teamkilling when he doesn’t do it)
使用炸逼TK不会比使用非炸逼坦克TK時多交罰款(SS:有跑車玩家說炸逼讓他们點燈否則就威脅TK)

– the 25 percent spread of damage and penetration is not tied to each other (eg. if a max penetration with 25 percent bonus is applied, it does not mean you will deal maximum damage too)
25%的穿深/伤害浮动两者没有联动的关系(比如你穿深某次最大上浮了25%并不意味着你这次伤害也会上浮25%)

– T-34-1 would underperform without the 100mm gun
如果tg的T-34-1木有100炮就会不举

– multicore support “is there for a long time already” (Storm: When the client physics is introduced, the second core will be loaded more)

Release notes 8.4

General Changes

  • Added a branch of Tank Destroyers to the British Tech Tree: Universal Carrier QF 2 pounder, Alecto, Valentine AT, АТ 2, АТ 7, Gun Carrier Churchill, АТ 8, АТ 15, А39 Tortoise, FV215b(183).
  • Added three new German light tanks: Pz.I, Pz.I Ausf.С , Pz.II Ausf.G.
  • New USSR premium Tier VI tank destroyer available in the in-game shop: SU-100Y.
  • Implemented new function of loading the necessary shell type within the countdown before the battle start.
  • Added the possibility to choose addressing system in battle chat: with or without auto save of the addressee.
  • Added the ability to remove heavy weight equipment and modules and replace them with lower weight ones when the chassis is overloaded.

New tutorial

  • Battle tutorial for beginners has been added (tutorial mission has its own map).

【Developer Q&A 】2013/3/13_感谢R2D2勘误

– Q: “Why isn’t German multilayered armor modelled in the game?” A: “Because such an armor was in no model of the mentioned nation until the end of 20th century” (SS: a player claimed that the E-100 had multilayered armor based on some scheme that wasn’t sourcelinked)
为啥游戏里元首车辆木有多层装甲?
答:这种科技直到二十世纪末之前都没被德国自己使用(SS:有玩家抱怨说E100是计划有多层装甲来着):

(图的右半应该是来自某张战后还原的设计图,左半边的首下很明显跟右边不一样,左边的德文里有“新型”前装甲的字样,再经过来源搜索后,这玩艺很可能跟鳄鱼歼击车、虎3之类纯YY模型车一样出自后世空想模型家的手笔) –R2D2

好吧,开场白向SS致敬-SilentStalker, 由于被揭泄露超测相关信息,这位SS的论坛账号被封了(EU wot bbs)

– flight speed of 183mm Object 261 AP shell and 203mm Object 212 HE shell are nearly identical, that however does not mean their trajectories are automatically the same
炸逼261的180口径的管子喷出的炮弹和炸逼212的203口径喷出的炮弹的飞行速度基本一样的,但这并不意味着它们的弹道也一样

– crew icons and pictures (uniforms) won’t be based on the tank era (eg. Bunderswehr Leopard crew will still be using Wehrmacht uniforms)
坦克手的的徽章和头像和坦克本身关系并不大举例子(比如豹式的坦克手们将会沿用国防军制服)
