WoT 9.0: an early look – 0.9.0前瞻

It has been mentioned multiple times by the developers that WoT 9.0 will be released at the end of this year, around New Year, but no official release date has been set as it normally isn’t until the last moment. This will probably change as the current release date of 8.10 is just too close to make this release date real The 0.9.0 version is going to be a big one, bringing Havok phisycs and multi-core support to WoT, but only for Havok running on a separate core at this point. WarGaming is also working on bigger teams (up to 30 on 30) and bigger maps, where the bigger maps could come in 9.0, but nothing has been confirmed though, as this is still much a work in progress, with a high probability of a version 8.10 coming before (24.10 Q&A FTR) . The information is conflicting right now to say the least, as the developers aren’t consistent at all when talking about version 9.0. Sometimes they refer to it as the next patch, sometimes they mention another update coming before that.
之前dev提及过很多次关于0.9.0会在2013年底前后放出的事了(事后确认就是个大忽悠),但是谁不可能在官方正式发布日前有任何可靠的消息,都只能是个传说.

不过可以知道的是,0.9.0将是个很大改动的版本,新的Havok本地物理引擎(手游上的ModenCombat系列这样的),CPU多核支持等. 不过Havok只运行在单独的一个CPU内核上.wg还在尝试30人对30人作战的模式(之前的提到过的大地图,增加炮的散布变相提高精度etc…),不过现在说这些都还尚早.毕竟木有确凿信息,只知道wg还在努力…..不过这些都是0.8.10之后的高优先事项.通过QA和一些零散的信息,他们之间看着挺矛盾的,至少可以说dev在计划搞这些东西,不过是下个版本还是,下下个版本就不得而知了/.233

Some of you might be interested in the fact that with the current weekend event, WG EU achieved a fail hattrick. First, there was no discount on E-25 (and now it is), then the new 8.9 TD’s were included even though this was not indended and now, they can’t even make the icons for them right. As a bonus, when you click the new TD names, you will not be redirected to the Wargaming site, but to Wotwiki. Sometimes I really wonder whether this is an intentional trolling or not.
你们也许会对这个周末WG欧服的活动很感兴趣。WG欧服这周连错三次的帽子戏法可是非常少见的。首先,E-25一开始没有打折(现在有打折了),然后8.9的新TD线居然包含在了6级/7级TD打折的活动当中,虽然活动上头没写,现在,他们就算把它们加上去之后,连图标都搞不定。另外,如果你点击新TD的名字的话,你不会被重新链接到WoT官网的百科,而是会被链接到WOT的维基百科里。有的时候我真的在想,这是不是WG在公开的婊我们。

So, according to info from iScendig (EU community organizer – thanks to EmperorSafirius for that, at least I hope it was you who told me that on FB), there will be some sort of new QA thread in English on EU forums. Well, a lot of things suddenly make even more sense, don’t they?
从iSceendig那得到的消息来看(此人为欧服社区管理者—还是要谢谢EmperorSafirius ,起码我希望是你在FaceBook上跟我说这个事的)在欧服板块会有全新的英语的QA帖子。恩,许多事情看起来就清楚的多了,是吧? (此处在说明FTR的QA被关掉的事情,起因是欧服的某个版主在向WG总部抱怨他们“偏袒”FTR)

Since this was openly posted on US forums too, I think it’s no longer a secret: Pavel “Zlobny” Myreev, Wargaming’s chief of tank balance left Wargaming recently. I’d like to openly thank him this way for participating in FTR QA and being a very friendly and nice person overall and also for (whatever you might think of the game) doing a good job on balancing the ingame vehicles in the past.

– Havok will introduce the destructable houses option: some buildings will be made destructable. A player asked whether their debris will be material (eg. it will be possible to create your own barricade from debris) or immaterial. SerB states large debris will be material, smaller will be immaterial, as the server power is not sufficient to calculate everything
Havok会引入可摧毁房屋这个选项:某些房子会变成可摧毁的。有玩家询问这些房子的残骸是否会是实体(也就是说可以通过把房子拆掉,利用残骸来提供掩护)或者是非实体的。SerB表示大的残骸会是实体,而小的则不会。因为服务器没有强大到可以计算所有的东西

WN8效率值简介【2014年11月更新】

外服流行的主流效率值之一 WN7效率值的进化版 WN8效率值
已经在NoobmeterVBaddict先后上线测试,本文简介WN8效率值公式。

在诸多依赖WG领土官网个人战绩API接口运行的不同效率算法中,WN8第一次实现基于大样本数据统计设定出不同单车的场均期望伤害、和护旗,并通过API接口可取得的单车数据计算单车效率。

WN8在Noobmeter上线进行alpha-test不久,WNX官方即宣布WN8已经过时,开始研发新的基于本地缓存数据计算的VBE效率(原名WN9D)。

WN8目前是所有基于API接口数据的效率系统中设定最复杂的一版
相比旧的WN7笼统的以车辆等级制定伤害标准的算法,WN8以单车统计数据为依据,
制定单车各自不同的期望战绩数据的新算法 是很大的变革。
但就本质来讲,包括将来会出现的VBE,依然沿用的是 采集官网重要战绩指标后,调整不同战绩指标算分权重的前代旧思路。
其为单车制定各自不同的期望战绩数据的新算法,设计思想本身优于第三版国服效率值。
但WN8效率值的科学程度、描述精度仍与投入运行多时的国服新战力系统不在同一水平。
