– the vehicle on the above picture is KV-122 by the way. It’s possible that in time, KV-1S will move to tier 5 and will become a hull module option for the KV-1 for more historicity

– Zimmerit has no influence on normalisation in the game, like it didn’t in real life (SS: no idea where this came from, why would anyone think Zimmerit had any influence. There was a “report” that Zimmerit coating caused fires, but the Germans tested it and came to the conclusion it’s bullshit – sort of like WW2 urban legend)
德系坦克的防磁性涂装在游戏内外都对炮弹的转正毫无影响。

– 3 tier MM spread (as it was before) won’t return

– currently, the spare tracks attached on the armor have no influence on armor thickness, because theoretically after first hit they’d have to fall off. The developers will first implement client physics (spare tracks falling off after being hit) and then will rethink the whole issue
目前坦克模型上的外挂备用履带对于实际装甲厚度没有影响,因为理论上一旦被打中,这些东西就会掉下来失效。所以开发人员会先把客户端物理效果 (可以显示外挂履带板、工具箱之类被打飞的效果) 搞好,再来考虑这个问题。
(其实现在某些外挂履带板已经有间隙装甲效果,例如傻邱7升级炮塔侧面那几块履带板算作间隙装甲,不过正面的两块没有效果。)

– SerB can’t promise, what the number of HAVOK patch will look like, whether it will be one of the 0.8.X series, or 0.9

上述的 (外观模型破坏) 效果已经在制作中,包括外挂履带板和四号的网格侧裙之类的都可以打飞。另外,这个系统实装后,可能也会推出附加装甲板、沙包之类的外部设备。

Q: How was the Sherman compared to the T-34 by the red army? Did they perhaps like them any better? Worse?

A: The Sherman was seen as a good tank, with a very nice gun. Tankers lamented the flat side armour and tall profile, but enjoyed the quality of the interior finish and comfortable seats. Tank infantry like Shermans too, since they shook a lot less in motion. Hooking up their belts to a Sherman, they could remain still enough to shoot more or less accurately at a distance of 100-150 meters, just enough to either suppress or drive off Panzerfaust soldiers hiding in ruins.

Q: Do you have any info about Germans capturing Soviet tanks, and how they modified those?

Author: newsashThis is an interesting post by Russian player, testing the Jagdpanzer E-100 8.6 camo – with and without bush. The spotting vehicle is a FV4202 with 100 percent crew, without binoculars or coated optics, but with radioman’s viewrange perk. The bush mentioned in the table is on Malinovka, like this:
在蹲坑卡, 用fv4202和白兔做隐蔽测试, 用的100%成员, 木有炮队,木有高光。
但接线生有视野增强技能!

And the result? Here is the distance in meters, on which the Jpz E-100 gets spotted…. (notice my elite photoshop skill, which I used to insert the text so nicely…)
