– SerB states that the whole E-series was based on the Tiger II design, therefore the E-50 lower frontal plate was nerfed accordingly to 100mm

– in order for the Leopard 1 to have the modern turret with spaced armor of later versions, SerB states that it would also have to have the T-72 as its opponent, and that won’t happen.

通常被上传的录像 战术指标都偏高,也就是说主视角的走位相对会更合理些。

– SerB describing the difference between US and Soviet penetration methodology: “The difference is in the amount of shell fragments, that make it past the armor. In the common American and German system it is based on “primary penetration” (20 percent of fragments make it behind the armor), while the Soviet data are based on the “guaranteed penetration” (80 percent). We compared the data of German and American 75mm guns tested in USSR and with German 50mm, 88mm and British 57mm. There is a 1,17 times difference on average”

– The_Chieftain, US developer and tank expert, is pushing for a 3rd US TD line. He states there are a few tier 3 to 6′s possible, but high tiers will be a problem

– when there is tank A and tank B, with tank A having a lot of engine power but bad terrain passability, while tank B has bad engine power but good terrain passability, it’s possible to actually test the difference by looking at acceleration: tank A will have better acceleration at lower speeds
– 比方有 坦克A 和 坦克B,其中 坦克A 的发动机功率大但是履带适应性差,坦克B 的发动机功率低但是履带适应性好, 可以通过观察加速度来区分他们:坦克A 在低速时的加速度更好

– SerB posted this when asked about a single photo where the Superpershing has the “ears” on the turret.

– the bug where the vehicle says “not ready for battle” but in fact it IS read for battle on test server is a bug, it will be solved

– the Tiger buffs will make the Tiger more popular

– there will be no special XP/credit compensation for engines lost in 8.8

– if you sell your Superpershing, you will get no gold compensation for its gold ammo
– 如果你打算用金币卖出超级潘兴,它的金币弹可不会给你补偿成金币

8.8更新花边——被遗忘的部分

– reworked the way determining the ramming culprit (initiator) works: now the one, whose tank is moving faster will be considered the culprit (SS: this is mostly for determining team damage from rams)

– added automatic relogin to another server, if platoon/company invite came from it
