Well, first and foremost (so he doesn’t kill me or something 🙂 ), Ilosz (EU server) made an interesting WoT magazine – 1st Issue. Graphically it’s very pretty, you can check it out at that post adress.

– SerB on why the various “Stalin” inscriptions were removed from the game (apparently only for EU client): “It wasn’t me or Storm – European office deals with Europe and despite they (at least a part of them) yell “For Stalin!” when drunk, they thought it’s not worth it to have a conflict because of him with a part of the local internet-patriots – not ours, not Soviet, burgeois people.” (SS: I hope this translation is ok, someone correct me if it isn’t)
SerB表示有几条关于斯大林的标语被移除的原因（仅限欧服）是：“这不是我和Storm的决定—欧服那边需要对付欧服的玩家，尽管他们（其中的一部分）在喝醉的时候还是会喊：“为了斯大林！”，他们觉得为了一些网上的爱国喷子起冲突不值得，所以就拿掉了，那些喷子不是我们的，也不是苏联的，而是资产阶级。”（SS：我觉得翻译的还行，如果有错请指正。）

– (SS: if I understand this correctly) it’s theoretically possible to detrack a vehicle by a HE shell, even if it hits the vehicle somewhere else. When the HE shell “damage sphere” forms (to determine which modules can be hit), the armor layer itself doesn’t limit it, so it’s possible for the tracks to be caught within it, even if the shell penetrated the armor somewhere else and exploded “inside” the vehicle
(SS：如果我的理解没问题的话）一枚HE炮弹在没有击中履带的情况下在理论上是有可能导致履带断掉的。当HE造成伤害时，溅射模型开始判定哪些模块收到了伤害，装甲层本身并不限制（这个模型），所以履带被算在模型中是有可能的，在HE穿透了装甲并在“车体内”爆炸之后依然是可能的。

– the deciding factor in whether a mod is illegal or not is the question, whether it gives the player a clear ingame advantage. If it does, it’s most likely illegal
判断一个MOD是否是非法的只基于一个标准，就是它会不会给玩家带来非常明显的游戏内的优势。假如它做到了，那么这差不多就是非法的。

Basically, landing battle draw is now considered a victory for the attacker. This has led to numerous cases, where clans, playing by the “old rules”, lost a match, because they were not aware of the change.

– Object 430U can’t replace the IS-7 as tier 10 heavy (SS: no idea what was the point of asking such a thing)
430U工程是不会把IS-7从10级重坦的位子上换下来的（SS：这是多脑残才能问出这种问题？）

– there is another candidates for tier 10 heavy, which has roughly the same characteristics as AMX50B, minus the autoloader – it’s the second heavy French branch T10, SerB states it has an okay frontal armor, but paper-thin sides
