today, yet another day without significant QA (Storm is on his well-deserved three week vacation). However:

– the micropatch “UI issues” that are going to be fixed tomorrow – it’s the issue where you see your friends in friend list as offline even though they are online and can’t invite them to platoon

A word of warning: an alleged set of future changes of German tanks appeared on RU forums (claiming that VK6501 will be a premium, Maus will get a longer 128mm gun, some changes to VK4501 etc.) – it’s a fake and some of the alleged changes are so outrageous it should be evident at first glance, but just to be sure, I am posting this warning here in case it makes its way to our forums.

– the KV-1S info about the split into tier 6 and 7 was apparently not correct, it’s possible the split will be into tier 5 and 6 (SS: at this point, we have two sources of high reliability
contradicting one another, the 5-6 version however seems more likely)

As you already know, the Stronkhold mode was started today. In the meanwhile, the suspicious lack of new info has been explained: Storm has vacation.

– recent changes in the “light T-54″ also showed that the frontal turret armor was reduced from 180mm to 160mm. Storm states that the 180mm most likely stays at the front where the turret armor is practically unsloped, 160mm will be the sloped part
