– players can get sometimes stuck in the air when going down slope like this because in current motion physics, the contact points with ground are not the entire tracks, but the roadwheels and in the case linked here, the first roadwheel is hanging in the air (thus it counts as no contact with ground)
玩家有的时候在下坡的时候是会卡在半空中的(如图),因为在现在的物理系统中,与地面的接触点并不是整条履带,而是只有负重轮,而像图中这种情况就是第一个负重轮悬在空中(所以就算和地面没有任何接触)  继续阅读

last night, a stream took place on RU server – the topic was patch 9.6. Participating were various developers: Yuri “HuKoguM” Kuryavy, Aleksei “Inaki” Ilyin and Roman “Riot_Guy” Tabolin. It was not terribly informative, but here’s the transcript, courtesy of VK Ekspress.

Hello everyone,
大家嚎,

yestarday, a new motion physics system appeared on supertest of the first time. Obviously, it’s pretty hard to explain (even show on video) how different the vehicles feel, so I’m just going to put here the summary, that was published earlier.
