Developers think that experienced players will like the new short range torpedoes and won’t lose their effectiveness. The changes aren’t targeting IJN DD’s or their captains but the mindless long range torpedo spam that some players were doing blindly. Such tactics shouldn’t be efficient.

Regarding the rock-paper-scissors system not really being observed, Vallter_ explains that they don’t want classes to be locked into one single role. In that regard, cruisers can bring AA cover and hunt destroyers. They won’t turn them into a AA platform or DD hunter only.
关于现在这个万物相生相克的概念没办法好好体现在游戏中,Vallter_解释说他们并不想让每种船型只能干一样事。举个栗子来说就是巡洋舰可以对空,也可以抓DD。他们不会把巡洋舰变成只能拿来防空或者是只能去抓DD。
