Well, this is a bit odd. Someone, writing as anonymous, wrote a comment under the recent daily translation that he hates me because I am arrogant, but that he’s going to share this anyway (the post ended up in spam folder).

This is NOT confirmed, keep that in mind, some items are… suspicious.

 List of changes in 0.8.5 version in comparison with version 0.8.4:– added new German research tree branch, Medium and Light tanks:
VK 2001 DB (tier 4 MT)
VK 3002 DB v1 (tier 6 MT)
Indien Panzer (tier 8 MT)
Prototype der Arbeitsgruppe A (tier 9 MT)
Leopard 1 (tier 10 MT)
Aufklarerpanzer Panther (tier 7 LT)

– Added new Soviet Light tank branch:
T-60 (tier 2 LT) T-70 (tier 3 LT) T-80 (tier 4 LT)

So yea, the Indienpanzer will follow after the VK3002DB, which is getting renamed to VK3002(D).Also, here’s the preview of the 8.5 German tree

Release notes 8.4

General Changes

  • Added a branch of Tank Destroyers to the British Tech Tree: Universal Carrier QF 2 pounder, Alecto, Valentine AT, АТ 2, АТ 7, Gun Carrier Churchill, АТ 8, АТ 15, А39 Tortoise, FV215b(183).
  • Added three new German light tanks: Pz.I, Pz.I Ausf.С , Pz.II Ausf.G.
  • New USSR premium Tier VI tank destroyer available in the in-game shop: SU-100Y.
  • Implemented new function of loading the necessary shell type within the countdown before the battle start.
  • Added the possibility to choose addressing system in battle chat: with or without auto save of the addressee.
  • Added the ability to remove heavy weight equipment and modules and replace them with lower weight ones when the chassis is overloaded.

New tutorial

  • Battle tutorial for beginners has been added (tutorial mission has its own map).

No more supertest leaks… for now

It is with regret that I must inform you my good readers, that sadly, my supertester source got himself kicked out of the supertest for inactivity (along with like 80 other people). Therefore… there will be no supertest updates from now on. For now at least.
And as for you, dear supertesters who read this – if you feel like sharing any interesting info, feel free to write me at fortherecordwot@gmail.com – after all, as you can see, I protect my sources… 🙂

侦查豹 — Aufklärungspanzer Panther

If you think it’s crap, you’d be right. It has a stock Leopard turret – this is the VK2801 turret, that serves as an upgrade. That’s right, the model is 100 percent recycled. But wait, there’s more! The top gun is the VK3601 “konisch” (so much for “we don’t want P2W”), the engine is the HL234A (estimated 850hp), so you can imagine this thing is slow. Oh and then there’s that 0 depression (think Panzer IV/V). This vehicle will be awesome to grind indeed.
如果你觉得这车很废，它就真的很废。白板炮塔用的萝莉的, 作为正太豹炮塔的升级。这没错,模型都是100%可回收利用型.。别急，还有尿！顶级炮用的VK3601的SB炮- -“konisch”（你可以用金币弹Pay to win!了），发动机是的HL234A（估计850hp），所以你可以想像，这货有多慢了。哦,还有, 这货是0度俯角!（类似不四不五）。该车反正怎么想怎么恶心。

The first number is the 8.4 value, the second the difference from 8.3. To avoid any confusion, I am using EU depression/elevation measures, not the RU ones. So, if it says “depression 6 (1)”, it means “the gun depression was buffed by one degrees”, where for example “elevation 17 (-8)” means “elevation was nerfed by 8 degrees”. Logically, “depression 6 (-1) would mean the depression was nerfed by 1 degree” and so on.

总结下就是俯角depression, 仰角elevation 的 nerf(负数) 和 buff(正数):

T-50-2 削弱仰角, 加强俯角
F-34 gun elevation 17 (-8) ,  depression 6 (1)

T-54 削弱
LB-1 gun elevation 20 (-3),   depression 5 (-2)
