Im Patch 0.8.7 scheint eine Änderung besonders aufzufallen. Soeben hat uns ein Leak Screen eines Supertesters erreicht. Scheinbar gibt es die Möglichkeit mit freier Erfahrung die Crew Fähigkeiten und Perks zu skillen. Der “Wechselkurs” hierfr ist 1:10. Bei einer 5er Crew den ersten Skill auf 100% zu bringen, kostetet ca. 105.000 freie Erfahrung.

在8.7中可以使用公共经验来练车组了。比率是1:10。一个5成员100%熟练0技能车组花费105.000的全局经验就能全员1技能了。(以后灯泡可以直接全局出了，好评！)

Basically what this article says: Storm states that on RU7 server (based in Amsterdam), there is a new MM version implemented, that fixes the issues of the 8.6 patch. Storm states that it’s looking good, it has been tested internally and no problems were found.

Storm states that the new MM specifically focuses on:
– top 5 vehicles of each team should be of the same tier now. If the timeout (waiting time) reaches 1 minute, this rule is reduced to top 3 tanks
– the scout balance (“both sides have the same amount of scouts” rule), that was disabled previously, should also work now.

Storm asked the players to give feedback in the comments. From the comments and feedback:

– a player reports an issue, that low tier platoons are too often on the bottom of the team. Storm states it’s possible that the new MM on RU7 did affect this, he will check.
– Storm states that it’s pointless to explain the mechanism changes, as it is so complicated even he didn’t understand when the developers explained them to him, one has to have deep knowledge of the system to understand
– Storm and players noticed a lot of “mirror fights” (with both team having the same vehicles) he’s not sure if that’s a good thing, or not
– the waiting times have increased to 40s-1minute
– platoon balancing not only by pieces, but also by MM weight is not planned

Now the Americans already have one don’t they? Well, by playstyle the T26E4 doesn’t really fit the stereotypical medium role does it? So are there any other vehicles that could be introduced to fit in a tier 8 premium medium spot? Yes, a lot actually.

Lets start off with the more logical choices. The T42 might be the easiest vehile to implement. Historically the T42 was based off the T37 light tank and was to be better armored than the M46 while keeping approximately the same firepower. The T42′s turret was used in the M46E1(upgraded M46) and the  M47 Patton. The chassis is already ingame as the T69′s chassis while the turret and gun are represented by the M46′s upgraded turret and the 90 mm gun M36. The T42 would have 4 crew members and could achieve speeds of 51 km/h (with 13.3 hp/t).

Another choice is the M47 Patton itself. The M47 used a hull based off the M46 Patton but featured better sloping so the protection would be equal to the T42 hull. The gun is the same as the T42(the M36). The M47 had a top speed of 48 km/h while having 15.9 hp/t. The M47 should be superior to the T42 in mobility besides top speed, also you get to train 5 crew members in it. I’d be happy with an M47 premium but I’d like to have the M47 as a researchable tank at tier 9 and have the M26 and M46 combined as a single tier 8 tank, we could see it in the Euro Tree too.
