Storm on 0.8.6 part 2

Here are a few of the answers Storm has given in comments under the earlier article from today (I hate backediting posts, so I’ll just make this new one):- Storm has checked the test hit rate statistics. All vehicles (except for arty) improved their hit percentage by cca 5 percent.

– the new tank being hit sounds have cca 50/50 feedback, about half of the players like it, half don’t
新的音效(击中时的)反馈过来,好坏参半.

– the “exploit” with shooting from behind two bushes will stay too, but the fix was already developed and will soon be implemented
那个啥,在2个艹堆子后面黑枪的效果不会变,但是修改已经开发完成很快就会实施了(我感觉我要崩溃了,这前后赶脚木有半毛线关系居然还有but)

– Superpershing nerf is still not decided 砍不砍超潘要看我们心情!空了吹!

– tests stats do not confirm the opinion of some players that arty was in fact buffed, both arty hitrate and damage went apparently down
测试服的数据显示,更新后的炸逼并没有某些玩家说的实际上buff了! 而是数据显示,炸逼的命中率和伤害都明显的下降

– the new sounds of engines, shots etc. won’t come soon, but WG is working on it

– it’s not easy for the developers to change the date of test server patches, as the test server patch publishing has huge inertia

– the changes in some vehicles’ camo factor are connected with unification of the camo factor counting metod on all the vehicles, based on their size – earlier, some vehicles had illogical camo factor, not corresponding to their size

– devs are discussing the implementation of another spall liner function: increase the saving throw of crewmembers and internal modules from arty HE shells by 20-30 percent

The T23 Medium Tank(历史资料以及可能重新回归WOT内)

For those who have been playing WoT for a while should recognize the name “T23”. The T23 was a tier 8 American Medium before the M46 and M48. Ever since the removal of the T23 there has been a lot of player support to reinstate the T23 as a higher tier American Premium.

There is a problem with that though, beyond the fact WG has no current plans for it. As you should know premium vehicles are usually kept exactly as they were/suppose to be in real life. The T23, as it was in real life, would be terrible as anything over tier 6.

The T23 was developed in 1943 and at the time was a perfectly fine tank. It was equipped with the M1A1 76 mm gun and had 500 gross horsepower. The first pilot T23 was fitted with a quickly produced cast turret, the next couple of pilots came with the same turret as the T20(stock turret in WoT), and the last pilots and the production series of T23 were equipped with a new turret(used in the later M4 Shermans).

This is the T23 with VVS suspension and the same turret as the T20.

The spotting vehicle is a FV4202 with 100 percent crew, without binoculars or coated optics, but with radioman’s viewrange perk. The bush mentioned in the table is on Malinovka, like this:
在蹲坑卡, 用fv4202和白兔做隐蔽测试, 用的100%成员, 木有炮队,木有高光。
但接线生有视野增强技能!

And the result? Here is the distance in meters, on which the Jpz E-100 gets spotted…. (notice my elite photoshop skill, which I used to insert the text so nicely…)

Storm on 0.8.6 test

0.8.6 Matilda Black Prince buff –不疼不痒的buff!

0.8.6 Matilda Black Prince buff

Thanks to TwilightSparkle for this one.Apparently, Matilda BP turret got resized. Along with a depression buff, the turret itself is noticeably smaller, have a look (to the left – 0.8.6, to the right – 0.8.5). It’s also visibly shorter, so let’s hope this finally makes Matilda BP a bit more enjoyable to play. Turret armor got also buffed, from 76/51/44 to 76/63/57.
