A Japanese Tiger? No

When Japan surrendered, American forces discovered Japanese late war military projects all over. One of such was the biggest Japanese tank U.S. forces have ever seen, the seemingly half completed Chi Ri, sitting there without a main cannon installed. The turret was huge. More than large enough for a 75mm cannon. There were some Japanese 88mm AA cannons so Aha! Just like the Germans, they must have been planning on putting these 88mm cannons in the Chi Ri! And behold, the idea of the Japanese Tiger was born.

How much does WG earn from various servers? — 米国人狗大户

SS: this was submitted by Vilgundr (NA), it’s a rather interesting insight. Of course, this info is a bit older (few days back at least), but still, interesting.


Just figured you may find this useful as theres been many comments about which server makes Wargaming the most money etc.

I found Wargamings annual Financial Statements for 2012 which are listed on the Cryprus stock exchange here: http://oam.cse.com.cy/Announcement/announcementvariation/4692

Now not sure how the other servers are or how much they know about this but in the financial statements it shows a breakdown of revenue by region. I’ll include my posts on the NA forum which got moved to offtopic which breaks it down a little.

The 2012 reported revenue for Wargaming was broken down in the following way in their Annual
Report. (Was in Euros, changed it to U.S funds and made it simple to read)

Please find the first version of 0.8.6 patch notes:
The USSR SPG line has been reworked:
S系火炮线改变

  • New SPGs added: SU-122А (tier 5), SU-14-1 (tier 7).
  • 增加5级火炮SU-122A，7级火炮SU-14-1
  • The following SPGs have changed tiers: SU-8 is tier 6, SU-14 is tier 8, S-51 is tier 7, Object 212 is tier 9 and Object 261 is tier 10.
  • 等级变动，SU-8升6级，SU-14升8级，S-51升7级，212升9级，261升10级

The German SPG line has been reworked:
D系火炮线改变

  • New SPGs added: G.Pz. Mk. VI (e) (tier 2), Pz.Sfl. IVb (tier 4), G.W. Tiger (P) (tier 8).
  • 增加 2级火炮G.Pz. Mk. VI (e)，4级火炮Pz.Sfl. IVb，8级火炮GW Tiger (P)
  • The following SPGs have changed tiers: Sturmpanzer I is tier 3, Sturmpanzer II is tier 4, Sturmpanzer 38(t) Grille is tier 5, Hummel is tier 6, Gw Panther is tier 7, Gw Tiger is tier 9 and Gw E-100 is tier 10.
  • 等级变动，野牛升3级，野牛2升4级，蟋蟀升5级，野蜂升6级，豹炮升7级，虎炮升9级，GWE升10级

The USA SPG line has been reworked:
M系火炮线改变

  • New SPGs added: M44 (tier 6), M53/M55 (tier 9).
  • 增加火炮，6级M44，9级M53/M55
  • The following SPGs have changed tiers:  M12 is tier 7, M40/43 is tier 8 and Т92 is tier 10.
  • 等级变动，M12升7级，M4043升8级，T92升10级(没有提到之前说的M37和牧师交换的事情)

DescriptionThe Sacred Valley is surrounded by two mountain roads and small path in the middle, which goes through two villages.Mountain roads are highly covered by vegetation and are quite safe way to enemy base.

Pass through hollow is the most dangerous since has few covers, but this is also the shortest way.
Map provide possibility to use a variety of tactics including defence and rush attacks.

SS: Okay, I was AFK yesterday so I have no idea where this came from, I can’t find the original post, but it was apparently written by _Quasar_ (EU forums dev) based on Storm’s info in advance and people, who weren’t supposed to see it saw it over the developer post tracker mechanism (lol, fail). 

Anyway, thanks Trent and Ogogopogo, here goes:

Chinese TD by SerB

This is what SerB posted yesterday when asked about Chinese tank destroyers.

As you can see, it’s a T-54 hull with some superstructure, the gun looks like something 100mm. According to wot-news, there is a high probability this will appear as T7 or T8 Chinese premium TD.
