this is what we can expect for Visibility system in the next WoT’s patch 10.0:

Red square: draw distance.

The diagonal draw distance exceeds the straight-ahead draw distance by 207 m. This setup was required by specific features of the game engine. However, in Version 10.0, the draw distance system of World of Tanks will be changed:
在对角线方向上的渲染距离的长度比点亮距离要长207米。当初这么做的原因是因为游戏引擎的机能受限。然而在10.0中,WOT的整个渲染距离会做出调整:

The draw distance square will be replaced by a circle of 564m radius. This will offer an even distribution increasing the draw distances by about 13% (64 m).
原本是个正方形的渲染范围会被一个半径为564米的圆所代替。这么改动会导致渲染距离的均匀分布,总渲染面积也比以前大了13%(多了64m²)
