There were talks that one of new city maps is going to be ‘Minsk’. Where is this map?

– The Minsk map was removed from our plans.

The most important question, what is going to happen with arty?

– We do not plan a nerf. What we are planning is a full rebalancing of this vehicle class. We want to carefully implement and test each point of the plan. We are also not excluding the possibility to limit the number of arties to 2-3 (with new achievements) or keep it the way it is.

What is going to happen with old Personal missions after new season release? Do you plan a new season?

– We are indeed planning a new season of Personal missions (The old one is going to stay available, so you will be able to finish the current missions)
我们的确有计划要做一季全新的个人任务(但是会保留旧的,这样就可以完成现在手上的这些任务了)

Any news about Japanese and Chinese TDs?
有任何关于日本和中国TD的新闻吗?

– Asian TDs and SPGs will need some more time. They are not in our plans for 2016; we are still gathering information about these vehicles, but there is no special interest or special priority on them
亚洲的TD和火炮需要一些时间。2016年的计划列表上也没有它们;我们依然还在收集关于这些车的数据,但是现在并没有什么特殊的兴趣(去做)或者是特别的优先级

What is going to happen with European branch?
那欧洲联合线怎么办?

– A common European branch won’t be implemented, there is an issue with crews for European vehicles. We are considering implementing branches with specific European nations like Sweden and Italy. Vehicles of other nations can be added as premium vehicles to existing trees or they can be added as incomplete branches with premium or action vehicles (like it was the case with the CN branch when we introduced the Type 59) without standard tanks.
欧洲联合线没了,因为有乘员上的问题。我们在考虑直接加入部分特定的欧洲国家,比如瑞典和意大利什么的。其他国家的车也有可能会作为金币车加入到现有的国家当中,亦或者是做一条不完整的线,但是会有金币车和高级车(就像最开始的中国线和59那种感觉)

Some bushes in the game are as big as Maus or Japanese tanks, what’s up with that?
游戏中的部分草丛和鼠式或者是日本重坦一个尺寸啊,这啥毛病?

– Maus-sized bushes are a game play feature which is important in terms of game balance. The idea was proposed by one of our old contributors (so old that he is not working on our project anymore) in the early development phases. There should be bushes that can cover every vehicle in the game.
和鼠式一样大的草丛是游戏机制的一部分,对于游戏的平衡性来说很重要。这个想法是在早期开发过程中一位老员工提出的(老到他现在都不继续搞WOT了)。游戏中应该要有可以盖住所有车的草丛才行。

What is going to happen with perks?
技能/特长会怎么样?

– We plan a complete reworking of perks, that is possibly going to be similar to what we see in WoWS; We will probably add skills that affect several crew members.
有计划要重制,可能和WOWS的差不多。我们有可能会加入那种会影响好几个乘员的技能

When is circular view range going to be implemented?
那圆形的视野圈啥时候弄啊?

– Circular view range is already going to be implemented in 0.10.0 (former 0.9.11).
10.0就搞(之前是叫9.11)

When are you going to release new physics?
新的动态物理系统什么时候上线?

– We have to finish several small improvements for the new physics (3.0) – They are going to be release in one of the next versions, as soon they have been brought up to an appropriate quality level.
我们先要搞定新的物理系统(3.0)里面的一些小问题—但是会在接下来的几个补丁中推出,等什么时候弄的差不多了就上线

Regarding the new engine, what are its features?
这个新的引擎都有什么新特点啊?

– There is going to be multi core support in the reworked engine (it is not a BigWorld engine anymore, but almost completely our own solution). It also allows support of Direct X 11 and 12, as well as a big number of modern graphics technologies.
重制的引擎中会有多核支持(这个引擎已经不是BigWorld了,而是WG自己想出来的解决办法)。同时这个引擎还会支持Direct X11和X12,还有一大批其他的现代显卡的高科技

There is a cool feature on physics test – shooting while rocking the tank (by using a temporary change to the gun depression upon sudden braking)
物理测试上有个很COOOOL的机制—在坦克前后摇晃的时候(使得俯仰角超出原有的限制)开炮

– We are going to reduce or turn off this effect, our core audience might dislike this feature. Experienced players also complained about it a lot because they had issues with aiming.
我们会降低这个效果的幅度,或者直接关掉这个效果。因为我们的核心受众可能会不喜欢这个机制。高玩们也有在抱怨,因为瞄准的时候会有问题

Any news about the replacement of the British top HT?
顶级英国重坦的替换有消息吗?

– The Super Conqueror was approved by historical consultants, now we are considering what to do. Basically, the SC is the same as FB215b with a turret in the middle of the hull. Unfortunately we won’t be able to keep the FB215b in the game.We also plan to add: A Chieftain with a Т95 turret and a Т95 with the turret from a Chieftain.

What about Tier 11-12 vehicles?

– We do not exclude the possibility that vehicles with of higher tiers will be introduced into the game.
我们并不排除会加入比现在游戏中最高等级还要高等级的车

Why do you use BigWorld?
当初为什么选BigWorld啊?

– We held internal tests of different engines that showed insufficient results on weak PCs. This is why we are reworking BigWorld (gradual adding of multi core support and DX11/12 support starting from 0.10 and in further versions) in order to create a fully functional HD-client.
我们的内部测试显示不同的游戏引擎在老爷机上的性能会不足。这就是为什么我们在重制BigWorld(从0.10.0开始慢慢的加入多核支持和DX 11/DX12支持,后续也会继续加)以做出一个彻底可用的高清客户端

There is a lot of talk about HD maps but we are not seeing these maps in the game yet. Why?
最近有很多关于高清地图的新闻,但是我们为什么在游戏中还没有看到这些图?

– We are going to add maps in new quality starting from next year. First of all we have to be all set up in terms of technologies, settings and with the launch of our “conveyor” that reworks vehicles into HD.
明年开始会搞高清地图。首先我们得先准备好工作环境,之后才能和高清车的“批量化”一起开始高清地图的工作

Flora in the client (some elements are 4-5 years old) will be replaced by a new one – latest version of SpeedTree (the old one will be completely replaced).
客户端内的植被(部分文件已经有4~5年老了)会被新的文件替换掉—也就是最新版本的SpeedTree(旧的文件会被全部换掉)

How about bots?
挂机的咋办?

– We keep fighting with them and have new effective methods for this;
我们一直在解决,而且我们现在也有了新的且有效的对抗方式

How do you plan to counteract forbidden client modifications?
怎么解决客户端这边的违禁Mod的使用问题?

– The best way to deal with them is to create a situation where their usage doesn’t make sense. For example in case of the «Tundra» mod there is an idea to display only those parts of a vehicle’s outline which is not covered by a terrain element etc.
最好的解决办法是在使用这些插件的时候出现一些莫名其妙的问题。举个栗子,曾经有过想法说针对去草插件的话,可以做出只显示车辆没有被地形元素遮挡住的部分

Any plans regarding Historical battles and Confrontation?
历史战和国别战呢,有什么新计划?

– We are still planning both, but our priorities are currently focused on other tasks.
依然还在计划中,但是我们现在的优先级被分配给了其他任务

What are the plans regarding 3-caliber rule?
三倍口径碾压这个怎么办?

– For some elements of HT armor this rule is going to be removed (for example, for side skirt with reversed gradient and for some thin roofs).
部分重坦装甲可能会从这条规则的使用列表中剔除(比如说反向倾斜的裙甲和部分炮塔顶部)

Partial damage when hitting turrets?
搞不搞在击中炮塔时只造成部分伤害的设定?

– We considered it, but there is no final decision yet. If we decide to implement this, we have to rework all models and create new inner hit-boxes. There might be also some dissatisfaction among players. Imagine you shoot a vehicle from 500m distance and achieve reduced damage (since the enemy vehicle is almost not visible).
我们考虑过这个事情,但是现在没有最终结果。如果我们真的打算要搞的话,我们就要把所有的模型重制一遍,然后建立新的内部Hit-Box才行。玩家中也有可能会出现不满意的声音。你想象一下,从500m开外射击命中但是由于这个机制只造成了一点伤害的心情(因为这辆车几乎是看不见的)

Further plans regarding game balance?
关于游戏平衡的未来计划?

– Our plan regarding balance is to introduce new physics, solve issues on current maps and then to deal with the rest, because basic things like physics and maps heavily affect game play.
我们关于平衡的计划有加入新的物理系统,解决现在地图上的问题,然后再去搞别的。因为像物理系统和地图这样的很基础的东西才是能大幅度影响游戏性的。

There is a difference in penetration values for 75mmL56 in Blitz and PC?
75mm L/56这杆炮在闪电战和PC版中的穿深值不一样?

– The difference is 132mm for 7,5cm L56 in WoT and 145mm in Blitz. Storm is ok with the difference and doesn’t understand the reason for complaints. He passed through Jagdpanzer IV without any issues but hasn’t tried VK DB. If we buff the penetration of this gun we have to test a lot of vehicles because there is a large number of them that uses this gun.
的确不一样,闪电战中的穿深是145mm,而PC版是132mm。Storm本人对于这个差距表示没什么意见,而且他不理解玩家们为什么要抱怨。他自己是很顺畅的就过了四歼,但是还没试过VK DB。如果要Buff这门炮的穿深的话就需要测试很多车,因为有很多车上都装了这杆炮

Japanese heavies, how are they performing?
日本重坦表现如何?

– Japanese heavies are really popular compared to other Asian tanks.
相对于其它亚洲车辆来说人气真的很不错

We’ve seen lots of new premium tanks, but they have not been released, what will happen with them?
最近有很多金币车,但是都没拿出来卖,你们这是在干什么啦?

– The future of new premium tanks (Pz. III K, Sherman Improved and others) is not fully decided yet, they’ve been made for future specials, personal missions, etc. In 2016 less of them will be made.
新的金币车们(III号K型,谢尔曼改进版和其他的车)的命运还没定下来,现在弄出来是为了以后的活动,个人任务什么的做准备。等2016年的话金币车就会少了

Will it be possible to paint German tanks in DunkelGelb?
以后有没有可能把德国车弄成DunkelGelb这种颜色?(请求正式译名)

– The yellow color (DunkelGelb) for German vehicles is quite possible in the future as a separate element of customization, as well as other basic colors for other nations.
黄色的(DunkelGelb)德国车在未来有可能会作为自定义系统的一个元素出现,其他国家也会有其他的基础色可用。

大概就这种颜色:

Why was the FCM PaK withdrawn?
FCM PaK为啥下架了啊?

– FCM 36 PaK40 – has been withdrawn as it is over-powered.

What about Tier 10 TD’s?
10级TD会怎么样?

– Foch 155 and Ob.268 remain unchanged, for Foch there are several options (e.g. to give Foch 120 mm with auto-load and 155 mm without), it will be discussed, the vehicle is overnerfed.
福三炮和268工程不会改,福娃的话倒是有一些选项啦(比如给120mm的弹夹炮,而150mm改成单发),这个之后再说,这个车的确是砍过头了

What about the IS-6?
IS-6呢?

– Storm is not enthusiastic about changing the shells of the IS-6 and giving it full tier battles. Reasons – game play and mass character.
Storm对于改动IS-6的弹药的热情不是很高,取消分房保护也是。理由嘛—游戏性,还有保有量的问题

What about further customization?
以后的自定义系统会是什么样的?

– Customization elements are planned, ASAP;
有计划要搞自定义元素,弄好了立刻出。

When will the Czech tree be released?
捷克线什么时候上线?

– The Czech tree will be released before the New Year.
新年前就上线

What about female voices?
女性乘员的语音?

– We are planning to introduce female voices ASAP.
女性乘员的语音尽快做好

Can we expect the FV 101 and other British LT’s in 2016? And other additions to old nations? In particular France (the second HT tree)?
2016年会不会看到FV 101和其他的英国轻坦?还有旧的国家会不会有新车?尤其是法国(重坦二线)?

– For the next year the FV101 Scorpion is not planned. New trees in old nations neither (except possibly the French HT tree). There are not many vehicles planned for the next 5 years (real vision of current situation), that’s why they will appear seldom.
明年没有计划要搞 FV101蝎式。也没有要给旧的国家加新线的计划(除了可能会出法国重坦二线之外)。接下来的5年之内都没什么计划要出车(当下情况的真实反映),这就是为什么会很少出银币线

Will the Hungarian tanks only be premium tanks, or a mini-tree in the German tech tree?
匈牙利坦克是只会有金币车,还是会在德国树里面弄出来一个迷你版的科技树?

– The Hungarians (and the Swiss, for example the new Panzer 58) will be premium tanks in the German tree.
匈牙利(和瑞士的坦克,比如最近出的那个Panzer 58)会作为德国线的金币车

Regarding the replacement of the T18 and etc. Whats the plan and what will happen with the Priest and the Sexton?
关于T18的替换什么的,到底是怎么个计划,还有牧师跟司事会怎么样?

Replacements will be in version 10.0.

What is the plan regarding the VK 45.02B?
VK 45.02B有什么计划?

– The changes have been temporarily been postponed, as well as the options of replacement – Mäuschen and co.
改动被暂时的推后了,替换那边也是—小鼠式什么的

Why are maps in Armored Warfare larger?
AW的地图为什么要大一些?

– The size of maps in WoT and AW above all else is determined by the vehicles’ speed (30(40) – 100 km/h in AW – 12 – 50(60) km/h in WoT);
WOT和AW中的地图大小其实都是由车辆的速度决定的(AW的30(40)~100km/h在WOT中大概也就是12~50(60)km/h的样子)

Why wasn’t Havok implemented?
为啥不出Havok?

– Havok has been tested on Stalingrad (if it would work there, would work everywhere). The result – critical loads for RAM and processor were found. Buildings were reduced to 3-4 pieces in order to make the load less. It didn’t work, more pieces are needed.
我们在斯大林格勒这张图上测试过Havok(如果在那边能运行的话,那在哪都能运行)。结果是—发现它会对内存和处理器带来很大的压力。想要降低负载的话就只能把每个建筑分成3~4块才是。然而这么几块肯定是不够的。

  • Physics will first be added for some small things (customization elements, destruction of small objects);
    会先给一些小东西加入物理效果(自定义元素,小物体的被毁效果)
  • An Israeli tank tree is possible in theory (similar to China with lots of clones), top – Merkava 1 or its prototype.
    理论上是可以弄出以色列的坦克树的(和中国的差不多,一大堆复刻的车),顶级车嘛—梅卡瓦1或者是原型车吧
  • A bonus for tanking is in development, the priority – medium;
    正在搞抗伤害的奖励,优先级是中等
  • Tanking damage is considered to be the damage that reached the armor and didn’t penetrate it, shooting the suspension parallel to the hull and HESH are not considered;
    能被算入“抗伤害”里面的伤害都得是那种击中了装甲但是没能击穿的才行,所以射击悬挂和HESH弹都不会算进抗伤害里面
  • Equipment is planned to be remade as well as crew skills;
    配件和乘员技能一样,有计划进行重制
  • Multi guns and multi turrets won’t be soon;
    近期不会有副炮或者是副炮塔的

与Storm的开发者QA》上有6个想法

  1. 嗯,改成用去草,和没用是一个效果的就行了,哈哈哈,你只要没瞄艹后面的敌人,你就和看有艹时候的一样,连轮廓都看不到

  2. 然而没有去草国服一群人和瞎了没区别,哪怕再优秀的轮廓算法(目前版本是瞄准一个点整个车身变红高亮,新算法是掩体外是红,掩体内是另外一个色),对于国人来说,我配置低,所以要去草,说的好有道理我竟然无言以对
