as you know now, the American light tanks (T5: Chaffee, T6: T37, T7: M41, T8: T49) are coming in 9.3 (hopefully, they were postponed like a bazillion times in the past). First models are making it to the supertest. This is the tier 6,\u00a0T37 light tank<\/strong>. The top turret you see in this case is apparently the elite one (T41, this would later on become the Walker Bulldog).
\n\u5982\u4f60\u6240\u77e5\uff0c\u7f8e\u56fd\u8f7b\u5766\u4eec\uff085\u7ea7\uff1a\u971e\u98de\uff0c\u2465\u7ea7\uff1aT37\uff0c7\u7ea7\uff1aM41\uff0c8\u7ea7\uff1aT49\uff09\u5c06\u57289.3\u5b9e\u88c5\uff08\u5f53\u7136\u662f\u5728\u7406\u60f3\u72b6\u6001\u4e0b\uff0c\u8fd9\u4ee5\u524d\u5df2\u7ecf\u88ab\u63a8\u8fdf\u8fc7\u65e0\u6570\u6b21\u4e86\uff09\u3002\u7b2c\u4e00\u6279\u6a21\u578b\u5df2\u7ecf\u52a0\u5165\u8d85\u6d4b\u4e86\u3002\u8fd9\u8f86\u662f6\u7ea7\u7684T37\u8f7b\u5766\u3002\u5728\u8fd9\u91cc\u4f60\u770b\u5230\u7684\u9876\u7ea7\u70ae\u5854\u662f\u5b8c\u5168\u4f53\u7684\u90a3\u4e2a\uff08T41\u70ae\u5854\uff0c\u540e\u9762\u4f1a\u53d8\u6210\u534e\u514b\u731b\u72ac\uff09\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

T37 was basically an attempt to upgrade the Chaffee to have superior mobility and firepower. To quote Priory_of_Sion:

First off I would like to discuss the \u201cmissing link\u201d between the M24 and the M41, the T37. Most of you should know a little about the T37 by WoT. It is the source for the M24\u2032s upgraded turret, even though it is too large for the Chaffee\u2019s turret ring(the US did have plans to enlarge the T24\/M24 turret ring though which would allow the T37\u2032s turret).
\n\u9996\u5148\u6211\u60f3\u8ba8\u8bba\u4e0b\u5728M24\u548cM41\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u201c\u4e22\u5931\u7684\u8fde\u63a5\u201d\uff0c\u4e5f\u5c31\u662fT37.\u5927\u591a\u6570\u4eba\u5e94\u8be5\u901a\u8fc7WOT\u90fd\u5bf9T37\u6709\u4e86\u4e00\u70b9\u4e86\u89e3\u3002\u5b83\u5c31\u662fM24\u7684\u5347\u7ea7\u70ae\u5854\u7684\u6765\u6e90\uff0c\u5c3d\u7ba1\u5bf9\u4e8e\u971e\u98de\u7684\u70ae\u5854\u5ea7\u5708\u6765\u8bf4\u8fd8\u662f\u592a\u5927\u4e86\u4e00\u4e9b\uff08\u7f8e\u56fd\u4eba\u7684\u786e\u8bd5\u56fe\u8981\u628aT24\/M24\u7684\u70ae\u5854\u5ea7\u5708\u641e\u5927\u4e00\u70b9\u4ee5\u4fbf\u5b89\u88c5T37\u7684\u70ae\u5854\uff09\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Now to discuss the T37. In Jan. 1945 the Army Ground Forces Equipment Review Board and the War Dept. Equipment Review Board both decided the M24 wasn\u2019t fit. They proposed a 25t vehicle that had superior firepower & mobility compared to the Chaffee. They called it the T37.
\n\u73b0\u5728\u5f00\u59cb\u8bf4T37.\u57281945\u5e74\u4e00\u6708\uff0c\u9646\u519b\u5730\u9762\u90e8\u961f\u88c5\u5907\u5ba1\u67e5\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u4ee5\u53ca\u6218\u4e89\u90e8\u95e8\u88c5\u5907\u5ba1\u67e5\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u53cc\u53cc\u51b3\u5b9aM24\u5df2\u7ecf\u4e0d\u884c\u4e86\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u63d0\u8bae\u4e86\u4e00\u79cd25\u5428\u91cd\u7684\uff0c\u76f8\u6bd4\u971e\u98de\u5177\u6709\u66f4\u5f3a\u5927\u7684\u706b\u529b\u4ee5\u53ca\u673a\u52a8\u6027\u7684\u5766\u514b\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u7ba1\u5b83\u53ebT37\u3002<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Development began in 1946 and a pilot was produced in 1949. The T37 was split into 3 \u201cphases\u201d. Phase I was the turret and gun combination we see on the Chaffee in WoT. Phase II was mounted with a deadlier T91 76 mm gun (same gun as on the T71 LT) with a Vickers fire control system and became redesignated the T41 (direct precursor to the M41). Phase III was an autoloading variant which wasn\u2019t built due to the Korean War. Some more advanced features of the T37 such as the rangefinders, the FCS and autoloaders were never fully developed due to the war in Korea. In 1950 orders were given to Cadillac to produce 100 T41E1s which became the famed M41 Walker Bulldog.
\n\u5f00\u53d1\u4e8e1946\u5e74\u5f00\u59cb\uff0c\u57281949\u5e74\u4ea7\u51fa\u4e86\u4e00\u8f86\u539f\u578b\u8f66\u3002T37\u88ab\u5206\u6210\u4e86\u4e09\u4e2a\u201c\u9636\u6bb5\u201d\u3002\u7b2c\u4e00\u9636\u6bb5\u662f\u6211\u4eec\u5728WOT\u4e2d\u6240\u770b\u89c1\u7684\u971e\u98de\u4e0a\u7684\u70ae\u5854\u4e0e\u4e3b\u70ae\u7684\u7ed3\u5408\u3002\u7b2c\u4e8c\u9636\u6bb5\u662f\u8981\u52a0\u88c5\u4e00\u6746\u66f4\u5389\u5bb3\u7684\uff0c\u4f7f\u7528\u7ef4\u514b\u65af\u706b\u63a7\u7cfb\u7edf\u7684T91 76mm\u70ae\uff08\u548cT71\u8f7b\u5766\u4e0a\u90a3\u6746\u4e00\u6837\uff09\uff0c\u5e76\u6539\u91cd\u547d\u540d\u4e3aT41\uff08\u4e5f\u5c31\u662fM41\u7684\u76f4\u63a5\u524d\u8eab\uff09\u3002\u7b2c\u4e09\u9636\u6bb5\u662f\u8981\u641e\u4e00\u4e2a\u5f39\u5939\u70ae\u7684\u7248\u672c\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u7531\u4e8e\u671d\u9c9c\u6218\u4e89\u7684\u539f\u56e0\u672a\u80fd\u5f00\u53d1\u3002T37\u7684\u4e00\u4e9b\u66f4\u52a0\u5148\u8fdb\u7684\u529f\u80fd\uff0c\u7c7b\u4f3c\u4e8e\u6d4b\u8ddd\u5668\uff0c\u706b\u63a7\u7cfb\u7edf\u4ee5\u53ca\u5f39\u5939\u70ae\u7531\u4e8e\u671d\u9c9c\u6218\u4e89\u7684\u539f\u56e0\u4ece\u6765\u6ca1\u6709\u88ab\u5b8c\u5168\u5f00\u53d1\u3002\u57281950\u5e74\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u5411\u51ef\u8fea\u62c9\u514b\u4e0b\u8fbe\u4e86\u751f\u4ea7100\u8f86T41E1\u7684\u8ba2\u5355\uff0c\u65e5\u540e\u6210\u4e3a\u4e86\u58f0\u540d\u8fdc\u626c\u7684M41\u534e\u79d1\u731b\u72ac\u3002\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
