These are the armor changes for the Type 59 armor:

\nThe armor was overall slightly improved in the front but not too much (5-20mm on some spots). The turret got reworked to more detail and some parts are now 300+mm thick.
\n\u6b63\u9762\u88c5\u7532\u6574\u4f53\u6765\u770b\u6709\u589e\u5f3a\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5e45\u5ea6\u4e0d\u662f\u5f88\u5927\uff08\u90e8\u5206\u5730\u65b9\u539a\u4e86\u5927\u69825~20mm\uff09\u3002\u70ae\u5854\u91cd\u5236\u4e4b\u540e\u7ec6\u8282\u66f4\u591a\u4e86\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u90e8\u5206\u533a\u57df\u7684\u539a\u5ea6\u8fbe\u5230\u4e86300mm\u4ee5\u4e0a<\/span><\/p>\n

Apart from the screwed model<\/a> of the gun, the commander cupola armor is the same but\u00a0 given the shape of how it looks, it was actually nerfed from cca 170mm effective to 145mm effective from the front.
\n\u9664\u4e86\u4e3b\u70ae\u6a21\u578b\u53c8\u53c8\u53c8\u53c8\u98de\u51fa\u6765\u4e86\u4ee5\u5916\uff0c\u8f66\u957f\u89c2\u5bdf\u5854\u7684\u88c5\u7532\u5e94\u8be5\u662f\u6ca1\u53d8\u5316\u7684\u3002\u4f46\u662f\u4ece\u5916\u89c2\u4e0a\u6765\u770b\u7684\u8bdd\u89c2\u5bdf\u5854\u6b63\u9762\u7684\u7b49\u6548\u539a\u5ea6\u662f\u4ece\u5927\u7ea6170mm\u780d\u5230\u4e86145mm\u5de6\u53f3<\/span><\/p>\n
