recently, a MM developer called “Nikita” made a stream with well-known RU streamer Amway921. Here’s what he said about Wargaming MM. Some of the stuff is pretty nuclear.
\n\u6700\u8fd1\u6709\u4e2a\u53eb\u201cNikita\u201d\u7684MM\u5f00\u53d1\u8005\u548c\u4e00\u4e2a\u8457\u540d\u7684\u6bdb\u5b50\u751f\u4e3b\uff0cAmway921\u505a\u4e86\u4e00\u6b21\u76f4\u64ad\u3002\u4ee5\u4e0b\u662f\u4ed6\u5bf9\u4e8eWG\u7684MM\u7684\u8bf4\u6cd5\u3002\u5f88\u591a\u4e1c\u897f\u90fd\u662f\u7206\u70b8\u6027\u7684\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

– There will never be skill MM in random battles, that is SerB’s unchanged position. If you want skill MM, go play team battles;
\n\u968f\u673a\u6218\u6597\u6c38\u8fdc\u4e0d\u4f1a\u6709\u6c34\u5e73\u5206\u623f\uff0cSerB\u5230\u73b0\u5728\u8fd8\u6301\u6709\u8fd9\u4e2a\u89c2\u70b9\u3002\u60f3\u8981\u6c34\u5e73\u5206\u623f\u5c31\u53bb7\/54\u5427<\/span><\/p>\n

– Developer admits that sometimes, WG implements features without telling anyone. They implement it, make it live and announce it only if it’s working properly (otherwise they silently remove it);
\n\u8fd9\u4e2a\u4eba\u627f\u8ba4WG\u6709\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u4f1a\u5077\u5077\u6478\u6478\u7684\u5b9e\u88c5\u4e00\u4e9b\u529f\u80fd\u3002\u4ed6\u4eec\u9996\u5148\u4f1a\u5b9e\u88c5\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u4f7f\u4e4b\u53ef\u7528\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u53ea\u6709\u5728\u5b83\u5de5\u4f5c\u6b63\u5e38\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u624d\u8ddf\u5927\u5bb6\u8bf4\uff08\u5426\u5219\u5c31\u76f4\u63a5\u62ff\u6389\u4e86\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

– “National battles” MM experiments led to no good results;
\n\u201c\u56fd\u522b\u6218\u201d\u7684MM\u7ed3\u679c\u5f88\u7cdf\u7cd5<\/span><\/p>\n

– The least vehicles you can meet in one random battle is 7vs7 (happens during late night when very few players are playing);
\n\u968f\u673a\u6218\u6597\u4e2d\u4e00\u573a\u6218\u6597\u6700\u5c0f\u4e5f\u4f1a\u662f7V7\u7684\u6218\u6597\uff08\u5728\u6df1\u591c\u6ca1\u4ec0\u4e48\u4eba\u73a9\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u4f1a\u8fd9\u6837\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

– Accounts with over 2500 battles played are considered as “advanced players” and when playing lowtier battles, they will not be playing with players with less than 2500 battles (RG: Couldn’t agree more, something I’ve been saying for some time…)
\n\u6218\u6597\u573a\u6b21\u8d85\u8fc72500\u573a\u7684\u73a9\u5bb6\u4f1a\u88ab\u8ba4\u4e3a\u662f\u201c\u8fdb\u9636\u73a9\u5bb6\u201d\uff0c\u5f53\u4ed6\u4eec\u73a9\u4f4e\u7ea7\u5c0f\u8f66\u7684\u65f6\u5019\uff0c\u4ed6\u4eec\u4e0d\u4f1a\u88ab\u653e\u5728\u6709\u6218\u6597\u573a\u6b21\u5c11\u4e8e2500\u573a\u7684\u73a9\u5bb6\u7684\u623f\u95f4\u4e2d\uff08RG\uff1a\u6211\u5f88\u540c\u610f\uff0c\u6211\u7b49\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5df2\u7ecf\u5f88\u4e45\u4e86\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

– If a player is 3 times in a row at the bottom of the team, in 4th battle he will definitely be on the top of the team;
\n\u5982\u679c\u67d0\u73a9\u5bb6\u8fde\u7eed\u4e09\u573a\u5728\u6218\u6597\u4e2d\u57ab\u5e95\u7684\u8bdd\uff0c\u90a3\u4e48\u7b2c\u56db\u573a\u4ed6\u4e00\u5b9a\u5c31\u662f\u73ed\u957f<\/span><\/p>\n

– After buying a new vehicle, the first battle with that tank you will definitely be on top of the team;
\n\u4e70\u4e86\u65b0\u8f66\u4e4b\u540e\u7684\u7b2c\u4e00\u573a\u4e00\u5b9a\u4e5f\u662f\u73ed\u957f<\/span><\/p>\n

– Matchmaker has an unused parameter where it treats stock vehicles differently but the developers decided not to use it;
\nMM\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u672a\u4f7f\u7528\u7684\u5dee\u522b\u5bf9\u5f85\u767d\u677f\u8f66\u7684\u8fd9\u4e48\u4e00\u4e2a\u53c2\u6570\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5f00\u53d1\u56e2\u961f\u6700\u540e\u51b3\u5b9a\u8fd8\u662f\u4e0d\u8981\u7528\u5b83\u4e86<\/span><\/p>\n

– Apparently platoons have lower chance of appearing on top of the team (“you want to play on the top of the team – play more solo”);
\n\u7ec4\u961f\u65f6\u5019\u5f53\u73ed\u957f\u7684\u51e0\u7387\u4f1a\u53d8\u4f4e\uff08\u201c\u60f3\u505a\u73ed\u957f\uff1f\u2014\u5355\u91ce\u53bb\u5427\u201d\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

– Developers want to ban troll-platoons but it is unclear when will that happen;
\n\u5f00\u53d1\u56e2\u961f\u60f3\u8981\u7981\u6389\u90a3\u4e9b\u5927\u5e26\u5c0f\u7684\u7ec4\u961f\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u73b0\u5728\u8fd8\u4e0d\u77e5\u9053\u4ec0\u4e48\u65f6\u5019\u641e<\/span><\/p>\n

– In 9.7, many additional statistics will be collected;
\n9.7\u4e2d\u4f1a\u6536\u96c6\u8bb8\u591a\u989d\u5916\u7684\u6570\u636e<\/span><\/p>\n

– Developers already created a piece of code that allows the game to match two players together in a platoon not based only on winrate and number of battles but also based on overall account statistics;
\n\u5f00\u53d1\u56e2\u961f\u5df2\u7ecf\u5199\u4e86\u4e00\u6bb5\u4ee3\u7801\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u8ba9\u6e38\u620f\u628a\u4e24\u4e2a\u73a9\u5bb6\u51d1\u5728\u4e00\u4e2a\u7ec4\u961f\u4e2d\uff0c\u6570\u636e\u4e0a\u770b\u7684\u4e0d\u4ec5\u662f\u80dc\u7387\u548c\u573a\u6b21\uff0c\u8fd8\u6709\u8d26\u53f7\u7684\u6574\u4f53\u6570\u636e<\/span><\/p>\n

– There is a mechanism developed for gold transfer among the players but it will not be implemented;
\n\u5df2\u7ecf\u5f00\u53d1\u4e86\u73a9\u5bb6\u53ef\u4ee5\u4e92\u76f8\u8f6c\u91d1\u5e01\u7684\u673a\u5236\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u4e0d\u4f1a\u5b9e\u88c5<\/span><\/p>\n

– Currently everyone at WG is playing WoWs;
\n\u73b0\u5728WG\u7684\u6240\u6709\u4eba\u90fd\u5728\u73a9WOWS<\/span><\/p>\n

– WoWs has a different MM mechanism, developed by Lesta (WoWs developer);
\nWOWS\u7684MM\u673a\u5236\u4e0d\u4e00\u6837\uff0c\u8fd9\u4e2a\u673a\u5236\u662f\u7531Lesta\u5f00\u53d1\u7684\uff08WOWS\u7684\u5f00\u53d1\u8005\uff09<\/span><\/p>\n

– WoT Blitz will have bots in tutorial, the tutorial mode is being completely reworked;
\nWOT\u95ea\u7535\u6218\u4ee5\u540e\u7684\u6559\u7a0b\u4e2d\u4f1a\u6709Bot\u5b58\u5728\uff0c\u6559\u7a0b\u4f1a\u88ab\u5f7b\u5e95\u91cd\u5236<\/span><\/p>\n

– In China (Chinese market), 60-70 percent of players are playing on Windows XP;
\n\u5728\u4e2d\u56fd\uff08\u5e02\u573a\uff09\u4e2d\uff0c60~70%\u7684\u73a9\u5bb6\u90fd\u8fd8\u5728\u7528XP\u73a9\u6e38\u620f<\/span><\/p>\n

– Developers are working hard on Mac OS WoT client;
\n\u5f00\u53d1\u56e2\u961f\u5df2\u7ecf\u52aa\u529b\u7684\u5728\u641eMAC\u7684WOT\u5ba2\u6237\u7aef\u4e86<\/span><\/p>\n

– MM is being completely reworked, there’s no ETA however. There are plans for many small but very nice fixes.
