yesterday, a new map (“Berlin”) was leaked. Earlier, there were speculations about the purpose of this map and that it might be a part of some sort of special event for the end of WW2 anniversary. And – it’s exactly like that. The map is based on the Brandenburg Gate approach in Berlin. Check this out.

The Brandenburg Gate (Brandenburger Tor) is one of the well-known German landmarks. It was built in late 18th century and survived unscathed until WW2, when it was heavily damaged in the fighting during the siege of Berlin in 1945. Right after the war, it was the place of a major Allies military parade where the west saw the IS-3 for the first time actually.
