Yesterday, Storm announced that it was decided this line would have a new tier 10 after all. Well, it\u2019s the end of October and all deadlines for modelling are gone already, so it can really be just one candidate: FV4005 Stage 2

So, here\u2019s a short post to tell you, what are you going to get for a Christmas present. Because, you know how everyone moaned about oneshotting vehicles? Well, here\u2019s another one and this time, taken to extreme.
\n\u6240\u4ee5\u8fd9\u4e2a\u5e16\u5b50\u7684\u7528\u610f\u5c31\u662f\uff0c\u4f60\u770b\u770b\u4f60\u4eca\u5e74\u7684\u5723\u8bde\u793c\u7269\u662f\u4e2a\u5565\u3002\u4f60\u4e5f\u77e5\u9053\uff0c\u5927\u5bb6\u90fd\u5728\u8bf4\u8fd9\u79cd\u4e00\u53d1\u79d2\u6740\u8f66\u662f\u591a\u4e48\u4e0d\u597d\u5bf9\u5427\uff0c \u6069\uff0c\u6211\u4eec\u518d\u6765\u4e00\u8f86\u8fd9\u8f66\uff0c\u8fd9\u6b21\u66f4\u52a0\u6781\u7aef\u3002<\/span><\/p>\n

You see, the FV4005\/2 carries the same gun as the FV215b (183). Only it is just as sluggish and it has no armor whatsoever (in brackets, FV215b for comparison):

And no, it does not have an autoloader. The vehicle weighed 50 tons and was powered by a 640hp Meteor Mk.IVB engine, giving it power-to-weight ratio of 12,75 hp\/t. Its maximum speed was historically 34,6 km\/h. All that in a package, that\u2019s just as tall as the WT E-100 (which implies it will have just as bad camouflage, as camouflage factor is generally derived from vehicle height).
\n\u6069\uff0c\u8fd9\u8f66\u6ca1\u6709\u5f39\u5939\u70ae\u3002\u8fd9\u8f86\u8f66\u91cd50\u5428\uff0c\u52a8\u529b\u6765\u6e90\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a640\u9a6c\u529b\u7684Meteor MK.IVB\u53d1\u52a8\u673a\uff0c\u63a8\u91cd\u6bd4\u8fbe\u5230\u4e8612.75\u9a6c\u529b\/\u5428\u3002\u53f2\u5b9e\u6781\u901f\u662f34.6km\/h\u3002\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5148\u6682\u4e14\u4e0d\u8bf4\uff0c\u8fd9\u8f66\u548cWT E-100\u662f\u4e00\u6837\u9ad8\u7684\uff08\u4e5f\u5c31\u610f\u5473\u7740\u8fd9\u8f66\u7684\u9690\u853d\u5f88\u5dee\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3a\u9690\u853d\u7cfb\u6570\u4e00\u822c\u90fd\u662f\u548c\u8f66\u8f86\u9ad8\u5ea6\u6709\u5173\u7684\uff09\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If we are to compare it to the FV215b (183) in the game \u2013 the armor comparison is above. To be completely fair, only a small part of the FV215b turret front is actually 254mm thick, but still, it\u2019s quite a difference compared to the 14mm of turret. FV215b is powered by a Meteor 800hp engine, but it\u2019s 10 tons heavier than the FV4005. Still, it has better power-to-weight ratio of 13,4 hp\/t with the same speed (34,3 km\/h).
\n\u5982\u679c\u628a\u8fd9\u8f66\u548c\u6e38\u620f\u4e2d\u7684FV215b\uff08183\uff09\u505a\u5bf9\u6bd4\u7684\u8bdd\u2014\u88c5\u7532\u7684\u5bf9\u6bd4\u5728\u4e0a\u9762\u3002\u5176\u5b9e\u8bf4\u8001\u5b9e\u8bdd\uff0cFV215b\u7684\u70ae\u5854\u6b63\u9762\u53ea\u6709\u4e00\u5c0f\u90e8\u5206\u662f254mm\u539a\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u548c14mm\u7684\u70ae\u5854\u6bd4\u8d77\u6765\u8fd8\u662f\u6709\u70b9\u5dee\u8ddd\u7684\u3002FV215b\u7684\u52a8\u529b\u6765\u6e90\u662f\u4e00\u4e2a800\u9a6c\u529b\u7684Meteor\u53d1\u52a8\u673a\uff0c\u4f46\u662f\u5b83\u8981\u6bd4FV4005\u91cd10\u5428\u3002\u5c3d\u7ba1\u5982\u6b64\uff0c\u5b83\u7684\u63a8\u91cd\u6bd4\u5728\u6781\u901f\u4e00\u6837\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\uff0834.4km\/h\uff09\u8fbe\u5230\u4e8613.4\u9a6c\u529b\/\u5428\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What I am trying to say in this post is that the hard stats (armor, speed) are just really, really bad. That means they will be compensated somehow \u2013 and I think that \u201csomehow\u201d will be gun handling \u2013 accuracy, rate of fire and other balance characteristics. In the end, what I fear we will get is yet another one trick pony, a derp version of the WT E-100 \u2013 no armor, no speed, sluggish, but with ridiculous gun performance. Because, you know, that\u2019s exactly what the game needs, a crossbreed between WT E-100 and FV215b (183), another balancing nightmare, that will always either be OP, or useless. Well, good luck to the guys, who will balance this thing.
